Journal Aims
The International Review of Biophysical Chemistry (IREBIC) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original theoretical and applied papers on all physicochemical aspects of Biomolecules and Biological Systems. The topics to be covered include but are not limited to:
quantitative analysis of the properties of biological macromolecules, macromolecular assemblies and cell components in terms of kinetics, thermodynamics, NMR, X-ray structural biology, single-molecule detection, fluorescence methods, advanced in vivo fluorescence microscopy; physical chemistry of native and engineered proteins, of natural and synthetic oligonucleotides, polysaccharides and phospholipids of biological and pharmaceutical interest; bioenergetics; molecular docking and dynamics simulation, protein structure prediction; physicochemical aspects in bio-nanotechnology.
The journal publishes invited tutorials or critical reviews; original scientific research papers (regular papers), letters to the Editor and research notes which should also be original presenting proposals for a new research, reporting on research in progress or discussing the latest scientific results in advanced fields; short communications and discussions, book reviews, reports from meetings and special issues describing research on all of physicochemical aspects of Biomolecules and Biological Systems.
IREBIC also publishes letters to the Editor and research notes which discuss new research, or research in progress in any of the above thematic areas.
Frequency:
published annually.
