Journal Aims
The International Journal on Numerical and Analytical Methods in Engineering (IRENA) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original theoretical and applied papers describing significant, novel developments in numerical and analytical methods that are applicable to engineering problems:
- electrical,
- electronics,
- chemical,
- mechanical,
- in solids,
- structures,
- multi-physics,
including fluid-structure interaction, multi-scale and multi-disciplinary problems.
The proposals could concern also model reduction, uncertainty quantification, verification and validation.
The Editorial policy is to maintain a reasonable balance between papers regarding different research areas so that the Journal will be useful to all interested scientific groups.
IRENA also publishes letters to the Editor and research notes which discuss new research, or research in progress in any of the above thematic areas.
